Join OWIT Lake Geneva for a new Afterwork - an inspiring and practical conversation on emotional intelligence applied in daily life and at work. This evening is designed as a space for open exchange, reflection, and meaningful connection around a topic that is becoming increasingly essential in how we communicate, collaborate, lead, and navigate change.

Rather than approaching emotional intelligence as a theory, we will explore it through real-life situations: how we respond under pressure, how we read a room, how we manage difficult conversations, how we set boundaries with clarity, and how we build trust in both personal and professional environments. In a world shaped by constant change and growing digitalization, emotional intelligence is not just a “nice to have” skill, but a powerful human advantage that supports resilience, collaboration, and healthier relationships at work and beyond.

Rise & Lead is OWIT Lake Geneva's international mentoring program - a focused, one-month sprint to help women in business grow faster, lead with confidence, and build connections that last. This Spring 2026 edition goes worldwide.

Rise & Lead is OWIT Lake Geneva's flagship mentoring program, now in its third edition and scaling globally as a fully virtual, worldwide sprint. Running June 1st – June 30, 2026, this one-month intensive connects mentors and mentees across industries and borders, grounded in design-thinking methodology and anchored to OWIT's core mission.

Mentoring is the most effective way to shorten your learning curve to success — and Rise & Lead makes that acceleration accessible, structured, and measurable.

OWIT Lake Geneva's mission - "United to foster international trade and women's advancement in business through a global network" - drives this program.

Shifting funding landscapes are reshaping careers across international cooperation. With ongoing budget cuts affecting roles in the UN, NGOs and development organizations, many professionals are asking what comes next - and how their skills, experience and networks can translate across sectors.

A dedicated space for women and allies

This event offers a dedicated space for women and allies to explore career opportunities across international cooperation, philanthropy and the private sector. The discussion will focus on how professional goals can be pursued beyond linear career paths, and how periods of change can become opportunities to rethink positioning, identify transferable skills and build new connections.

The session will combine practical guidance with real-life testimonials from professionals who have built careers across sectors. Together, we will explore possible pathways, common challenges and the skills, networks and mindsets that can support successful transitions.
