Hulya Kurt

I spent 30 years in the corporate world, where I held many different roles, ranging from Business Admin Manager to Global Customer Experience Lead, Business Strategy Manager and Process Design Lead.

I was part of the Diversity and Inclusion global steering committees, led the local Business Resource Groups and now I am the President of OWIT (Organization of Women in International Trade) Lake Geneva, as well as VP Chapter Support, for OWIT International.

With a wide experience in managing large, remote and on-site teams, creating strategies, and assessing solutions, I am passionate about helping others to succeed and holding multiple workshops around Career development and Innovation methodologies globally as well a professional business coach.

I have taken currently a new position on as President of Noble Manhattan Coaching Geneva, which is an International Organization, uniting existing coaches, new and student coaches, creating a platform where coaches can practise, learn and upskill themselves in a trust environment, expanding their network and business.

Iulia Popescu Executive Vice President

With more than 10 year experience in the private sector in Switzerland (corporate and entrepreneurial), Iulia is an active project manager looking for new challenges. 

The versatility and agility she have shown in her various positions has allowed her to put into practice her sense of organization and communication, while respecting a quality objective. 

Dynamic, flexible and autonomous, she does not lack rigor and she adapts very easily. 

She joined OWIT Lake Geneva in 2017 and after her role as VP Events during 2017-2019, she took over the Executive Vice President position working mainly on the organisation's strategy on how to bring value to our members and community. 


Ruxandra Grigorita
VP Marketing Communications

Ruxandra is an experienced learning professional with a passion for adult learning and human resources. She is also focused on increasing the women's role and presence in all business areas and the technology sector in particular. Passionate self-starter, she believes in achieving excellence only through hard work, integrity and full commitment to one's responsibilities.

Currently an International Learning&Development Manager with L’Occitane Group as well as External Instructor with IATA, Ruxandra worked in the past 10 years as a learning professional, with companies like Expedia Lodging Partners, Thomson Reuters, HSBC and Caterpillar. She holds an MBA from Solvay Business School in Brussels, with a focus on European Management.

She joined OWIT Lake Geneva in 2018 and after being an active Volunteer, she took over the VP Marketing Communication position and is committed to supporting the organization in the events and communications area.

Mahathi Nemallapudi VP Membership

Mahathi has multi-disciplinary experience, in corporate and entrepreneurial environments. She worked as a recruiter at Sapient and founded her own food company called Maa Vantillu, both in India. Now in Switzerland, she has further diversified, and works as a social media manager in an academic and humanitarian environment, at EssentialTech Center, EPFL.

She joined OWIT as a volunteer in Jan 2020, and, as a firm believer in women empowerment, is excited to get to know the Swiss ecosystem for new opportunities.

Mahathi holds an MBA in HR from Amity University, New Delhi India. Before that she completed her B.Pharm at JNTU. Hyderabad India.

Sanaz Javadi Farahzadi VP Partnership

An international lawyer, trainer, mentor and adviser to international organizations, local governments, academia, private sector, United Nations and European Union on IP technical assistance, trade development projects and gender equality in Europe, Middle East, Africa and South East Asia.

Master in Intellectual Property Law, LLM in International Trade Law, Doctoral Researcher in Intellectual Property, Based in Geneva, Switzerland. 

She has been lecturing in ETH Zurich, Graduate Institute Geneva and University of Cambridge.
Teaching experience in more than 12 countries from developed and developing world.
Work experience with World Intellectual Property Organization, International Trade Center, Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property, South Center, INTA & UNCTAD.

Aurélie Hutzli Administrator

With a Swiss and Russian background, and having resided several years in China, Brazil, and the United Kingdom, Aurélie is thoroughly experienced in working in multi-national and multi-cultural environments. She is fluent in Russian, Portuguese, French, and English, with a strong understanding of German and Spanish, and a sound notion of Mandarin.

Aurélie has practice in working with the international sector, the private financial sector, and marketing. Her driving interests include social digitalisation and transnational communication.

Besides OWIT-Lake Geneva, Aurélie is an MA candidate in International Affairs at the Graduate Institute Geneva. She holds a First-Class Honour’s bachelor degree in political anthropology from Durham University.

Anila Hussain Volunteer (Events & Afterworks)

Anila is a Social Impact Entrepreneur & Co-Founder SHENANNZ.

Driven by a strong business mindset since childhood, Anila, a national level gymnast, was raised in Karachi, the cosmopolitan fashion hub of the East. Her zest for knowledge led her to become a Montessori International Educator, settled in Geneva, Switzerland. Alongside her teaching role as a Montessori educator, Anila’s formative years were spent pursuing fashion styling consultancy in Switzerland.

Her presence in the world of fashion and glamour in Europe led to SHENANNZ becoming an international brand, where she serves as the brand’s global Ambassador. Anila currently oversees the showcasing of SHENANNZ’s couture collection in Europe across fashion events and platforms such as Montreux Moda Switzerland, London Fashion week, House of iKons, Swiss Fashion week Manor, Vevey, Globus Geneva and recently in Dubai.

Anila is committed to emancipation and empowerment of impoverished women, by fostering their creativity to create sustainable livelihoods for themselves and their families. Her dream is to spread the message of gender equality through entrepreneurship and education, across the world.

Katarzyna Grzesik-Harz Volunteer (Events & Afterworks)

Katarzyna Grzesik-Harz has been working as an Intercultural Communications Trainer since 2017 and as a Project Management and Business Process Trainer since 2001.

In her workshops she meets the needs of already well-established professionals coming from the corporate world as well as those of students preparing to work successfully across borders.

She is a double master’s degree holder – in Intercultural Communication (MIC) at the USI Lugano and in European Studies (European Law, Economics and Culture) at the University to Poznan.

Juliette Bigot Volunteer 

Born in Saigon, raised in Cairo then in Paris, “a traveller”, Juliette has always evolved in an international environment.

She has a strong expertise in the Luxury and Fashion business, gained in prestigious Maisons. She has a passion for heritage, craftsmanship and would love to contribute to a more sustainable world in her industry.

She holds a Postgraduate degree in International trade and Economics from Paris 1 Sorbonne University.

She joined OWIT in 2018 to share ideas with inspiring women from all horizons and cultures. She is happy to help OWIT to grow in Geneva, the international city par excellence.

Jenitha Jacob Volunteer 

Jenitha Jacob has a bachelor degree in International Economics and Trade fromWenzhou University, Zhejiang, China and master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacyfrom International University in Geneva, Switzerland.

Before volunteering at Organization ofWomen in International Trade (OWIT), Jenitha worked at Bugando Medical Hospital as a counselorand Nono Tanzania Limited as an accountant and supervisor.

Jenitha is interested and motivated towork in the economic empowerment of Women in all spheres and is currently enrolled in apostgraduate diploma in Women’s Leadership Development from Said Business School at theUniversity of Oxford.

Zohre Momeni Volunteer 

Working as a volunteer under the Partnership VP of OWIT-Lake Geneva, Zohre has a lot of experience working as a legal advisor and researcher. She is working with United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (Intellectual Property Unit Division on Investment and Enterprise) as an associate researcher now. Zohre is very much interested and driven to work towards development and furthering the knowledge of Intellectual Property especially amongst women.

Zohre holds and LLM on Intellectual Property and is currently working on her second LLM on International Contracts & Arbitration at University of Fribourg, Fribourg, Switzerland. 

Alessia Robusto Volunteer 

Alessia is curious, resilient, and happy Italian mom of an adorable boy and joyful girl. She is passionate about people and she believe In their unique skills to complement a team.

With more then 15 years of experience in managing all aspects of HR functions from recruiting, performance management, talent and development processes, now she collaborate with UPG an NGO start up of green and sustainable development projects as Talent acquisition Mgr

Aha has a classical education, graduated in law with a Master in HR management, here in Switzerland she obtained a local certificate in HR.

She joined OWIT in 2020 starting to contribute in organise Events, to be inspired and inspire and to continuous improvement.

Alessia believe in “ education , education , education “ to succeed in life and help others. She is very proud to be part of this great team!

 Fatemeh Mansouri Volunteer

Fatemeh is an Intellectual Property Law graduate from Iran, with a background of working in International Business Law environment specially on  contracts.

She is fluent in English, Turkish and a basic knowledge in Arabic.

She is a Mentee of 9th Batch "Hear My Voice" program focusing on Women Empowerment.

Also a Candidate of University of Lausanne International Business Law LLM program and holds a bachelor degree in Law with 3.6 GPA.

 Daciana Leonte Volunteer

Daciana is owner of Rohngate Technologies - Microsoft certified professional and trainer for Dynamics NAV, Dynamics 365 Business Central and Power Platform, with a strong business operations management background and more than 15 years experiences in business applications implementation, scoping, planning, managing projects through the entire life cycle, managing teams and sharing knowledge and expertise.

She joined OWIT in 2021 and is an active volunteer in the Lausanne team of events. 

 Niloofar Alamalhodaei Volunteer

Niloofar has LLM Private Law. She has been working for 6 years in the field of women, especially women's rights and women empowerment, and for 8 years in the field of children, especially children's rights and increasing the level of education of children.

For example , for women prisoners in Iran , she has given a plan to the Iranian Prisons Organization for their economic empowerment , and has also held women's rights education courses to raise awareness of women's rights in Iran for Iranian women. she has also had various research projects in the field of family law for 3 years.

Niloofar has focused her professional goal on achieving gender equality by focusing on women's empowerment and awareness of their rights.

Aditi  Varma Volunteer

Aditi is a sustainability and international development professional. She has an MSc. in Sustainability Management from Columbia University in the city of New York.

She has lived and worked in Asia, Africa and the USA on development and sustainability issues including girls education, youth unemployment, sustainable supply chain, waste and recycling and sustainable coffee production.

She is fluent in English, Hindi and has conversational knowledge of Bhasa Indonesia and is learning French. She is delighted to be a part of the OWIT community and network.

Nasya Dimitrova President 2016-2017

Nasya joined the organization in 2012 and after having volunteered in various roles became a President in May 2014.

Nasya enjoys collaborating with multicultural and open-minded individuals who share the common goal to work together in a friendly and respectful manner to deliver positive result to society, in exchange of knowledge and showing trust to individual talents and inspirations.

She holds a Master Degree in Economics from the University of Economics - Sofia, Bulgaria and an Executive MBA from the IE Business School - Madrid, Spain.

She is currently working in Finance at Nestlé.
