Have you ever been in a meeting where there was uncomfortable tension and you just wanted to leave?
Have you had a disagreement with a colleague but tried to avoid it because you didn’t want to deal with it?
85% of employees at all levels experience conflict to some degree (study by CPP GLOBAL). Employees in the US spend 2.8h per week dealing with conflict.
But can you navigate the unavoidable conflicts at work today, and deal with conflict in a healthy and productive manner? Both for you and those you interact with.
If you don’t manage it properly, business productivity, operational effectiveness and morale take a major hit. On the other hand, if managed properly, conflict can lead to positive outcomes, such as a better understanding of others, improved solutions to challenges, and increased innovation. Maybe even more importantly for leaders, good conflict resolution equals good employee retention and performance.
This highly interactive session includes: Learning how to embrace and see the positive in conflict, and to bring swift and just resolutions, promoting a healthy and respectful work environment.
We thank Aurélie Hutzli (Volunteer and Administrator) and The Graduate Institute of Geneva (IHEID) for the support.
