With the occasion of OWIT Lake Geneva AGM 2024, let’s all pause and reflect on the positive impact that volunteering and networking can both have on our professional life.
Volunteering often brings together individuals who are passionate about a specific cause or mission. This leads to building strong tights and implicitly sharing values, communication and network. What is the benefit of these connections for the individual and the extended society? Why is important to share, give and receive?
You’ll have the opportunity to listen to Caroline Tosti’s fascinating story, ask questions, and get inspired.
About the speaker: Caroline Tosti has an impressive career working in the field and in Switzerland for the United Nations (Rwanda, East Timor, Kosovo, Albania, Romania), NGOs (Switzerland), the French Government (Burundi) and as well training institutions (Switzerland) to support people reaching their professional objectives. She volunteered for 10 years as an expert of a Swiss local federation (FEDEVACO) and she started her career in Rwanda at the UN as a UNV (United Nations Volunteer).
Following a burn-out in 2005, she attended many training workshops in order to take care of herself in different areas such as positive psychology, neurosciences, stress management, intuition, meditation, science of change and possibilities. Since 2016, she’s been leading workshops in French and English on "inner ecology" helping people to become their best ally through the understanding and the activation of their inner resources "body-heart-brain".
Caroline founded "L'Echo de Caro" and authors a newsletter, writes articles, organizes events, conducts training programmes aimed at empowering people to live an intentional and fulfilling life: introduction to meditation and mindfulness, the power of intention and morning rituals, life visioning, transcending a negative state of mind, living an "affirmative" life, boosting self-confidence, cultivating inner security and many others.
