Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) stand as paramount priorities for businesses and international organizations worldwide due to their direct impact on various facets including business performance, employee experience, and work culture. Research conducted by the D&I Global Market and McKinsey indicates that companies ranking in the top quartile for racial and ethnic diversity are 25% more likely to achieve financial returns surpassing their competitors.

The 2024 OWIT Lake Geneva Gala Dinner will embark on a journey to explore the progress made in the DEI agenda from diverse perspectives encompassing business, international organizations, NGOs, and executive search experts specializing in women talent. The event will delve into questions such as:

  • What innovative approaches are companies adopting?
  • Which DEI practices yield the most favorable results, and what does the future hold in terms of outlook for the upcoming years?

The evening will start with an entertaining keynote by Doug Manuel, an ex-BBC documentary producer, who has returned to film making to produce a documentary entitled "Beats As One" about the cure to the loneliness and isolation epidemic. Manuel has performed at TED Global and with Oprah, and for three decades he has been delivering interactive virtual and in-person programs for Fortune 500 companies and leading business schools around the globe. The foundation of his work draws on the timeless wisdom of rural Africa where people still live in community and have an innate sense of how to collaborate.

Afterward, our esteemed panel will navigate these topics and more over the course of an hour through engaging exchanges, interactive Q&A sessions, and the sharing of best practices.
