“Femininity is not weakness. It’s the epitome of strength wrapped in softness.” – Minna Antrim

On 12 March, we invite you to an OWIT Lake Geneva afterwork dedicated to celebrating women in all their roles – at work, at home, in society.

In the spirit of Women’s Month, this gathering will be a warm, interactive space to reflect on what it means to be a woman today, how we are perceived, and how we can honour the women in our lives in meaningful, everyday ways.

Together, we’ll explore:

  • The art of being a woman – between strength and vulnerability, pressure and grace.
  • Moments that define our femininity: a time you felt most feminine, proud or deeply aligned with yourself.
  • I love being a woman because…” – sharing stories of joy, resilience and identity.
  • Men as allies: how partners, colleagues, friends and mentors can celebrate and support women in real, concrete ways (beyond flowers and one-off gestures).

This afterwork will be co‑hosted by Crina and Ioana, our wonderful OWIT Lake Geneva volunteers responsible for events in the Geneva area. Crina is focused on well-being, kindness & support, while Ioana is a sustainability passionate, involved in innovation and connecting communities.

What’s in it for me?

Whether you are a woman or a man, you’ll leave with:

Personal insight:

A clearer sense of what being a woman means to you (or to the women in your life) and how societal expectations shape that experience.

Recognition & celebration:

A chance to name and honour the moments when you felt most feminine, powerful, authentic – and to hear others’ stories that might mirror your own.

Concrete ideas to support women:

Simple, human actions men and organisations can take to support women in everyday life — not just on Women’s Day

Connection & community:

Meet like‑minded professionals – women in business, in reconversion, entrepreneurs, students and supportive men – and build new relationships in a relaxed setting.

Cost: Just the price of your drink (please settle your tab directly with the bar, as OWIT Lake Geneva is not responsible for bar bills).

If you register but can no longer attend, please kindly cancel your registration so someone else can join.

Let’s take one evening to think about the future with clarity – and turn small decisions into a big impact for ourselves and the people we care about
