"Burnout is not a sign of weakness. It is a sign that you have been strong for too long."
OWIT Lake Geneva is delighted to invite you to our next Afterwork in Lausanne:
The Experience of Burnout
An interactive networking evening exploring how burnout shows up in professional and personal life, how we recognise it, and how women in business are learning to move through it, protect their energy, and build more sustainable careers.
No slides. No lecture. No pressure.
Just honest conversations, guided table discussions, and the pleasure of connecting with a community that truly "gets" you.
Together, we will explore:
- The early signs of burnout, and the difference between being very busy and being truly depleted
- What genuinely helps recovery: boundaries, support systems, mentors, peer networks
- How to tell healthy resilience apart from simply pushing through
- What a burnout-free version of our careers could realistically look like
The evening is designed as a safe, confidential and interactive space. Everything shared at the tables stays at the tables, and there is no obligation to share more than you wish.
️Cost: Free of charge to attend. Only your own drinks and food are at your charge, to be settled directly with the venue, as OWIT Lake Geneva is not responsible for individual bills.
Feel free to bring along colleagues or friends - everyone is welcome!
Registration is required, as places at the tables are limited. If you register and can no longer attend, please kindly cancel your registration so that someone else may join.
Our host for the evening will be Lili, Cécile & Alina, events volunteers of OWIT Lake Geneva, who will guide the conversation and create room for meaningful exchange and networking. For any question, you can write to volunteer@owit-lakegeneva.org.
Looking forward to opening the new season together in Lausanne.
