"Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation."
– Audre Lorde
OWIT Lake Geneva is delighted to invite you to our next Afterwork in Geneva:
Who's at the Top of Your List?
A Pink October conversation on health, boundaries and self-care.
As women, we take care of a million things. Work, family, friends, projects, the people who count on us. Somehow we find the time and energy for everything.
But do we find it for ourselves?
In the spirit of Pink October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we invite you to an honest conversation that starts with health and goes further. Do we forget ourselves along the way, or do we really look after our own needs, our mental health and our boundaries?
No slides. No lecture. No pressure.
Just honest conversations, shared experiences and the pleasure of connecting with a community that truly "gets" you.
Together, we will explore:
* What do you do to take care of yourself, really?
* Why we so often put ourselves last on the list, and what it costs us
* Health as a priority: listening to our bodies, making time for check-ups and not postponing what matters
* Mental health, rest and boundaries as part of self-care
* How taking care of ourselves helps us take care of business, and of everyone else
The evening is a safe, confidential and welcoming space. Everything shared stays among us, and you never have to share more than you wish. Pink is warmly welcome.
️ Cost: Free to attend. There is no entry fee for members, OWIT Worldwide members, partners or non-members. You pay only for your own food and drinks, directly with the venue. OWIT Lake Geneva does not cover individual bills.
Open to members, OWIT Worldwide members, partners and non-members. Feel free to bring colleagues or friends. Everyone is welcome.
Registration is required. If you register and can no longer attend, please cancel your registration so someone else can join.
For more information, contact Jelena or Minh, your hosts for the evening: contact@owit-lakegeneva.org
We look forward to seeing you in Geneva, and to putting ourselves back at the top of the list, at least for one evening.
